Based on his career in government, industry, and academia working on cyber vulnerability discovery and analysis, Bill will discuss the current threat and risk environment and how using cloud technology can mitigate some of those risks while also creating a host of new vulnerabilities. Bill will discuss current cloud technology strengths and weaknesses, and will give a subject-matter-expert’s opinion of what future cloud use will be and what kind of attacks on clouds we’re likely to see in the next two years.
The migration to the cloud and the growth of cyber threats continue to create many challenges relative to cyber security. The afternoon session panel discussion will explore some of the solutions to cyber security threats available to both industry and government as we transition to the cloud.
