Internship Opportunities

Calling All Talented College IT & Engineering Students!

Please join us in finding the best and brightest college sophomores, juniors and seniors to participate in a showcase event at Howard County Chamber of Commerce’s 2019 Cyber Conference. Resumes are currently being accepted by GovConnects for a one day internship. Students will assist for half the day and attend lectures and workshops for the other half.

Participation options: 8:00 am to 12:00 noon /or/ 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm. Meals are included.

Parking is free and there is no charge for internship participants.

  • Interns will be able to attend a breakout session of choice and have access to the who’s who of the conference cyber speakers.
  • The 2019 Cyber Conference is an excellent opportunity for technical candidates such as (but not limited to) Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering, to meet and interact with industry and federal government officials. Conference sponsors have agreed to review interns’ resumes for potential opportunities, if interested.
  • Several sponsors have current programs in place that support technical students close to graduation. The opportunity to attend the conference, gain valuable information about the trends/forecasts for cybersecurity issues and technology, and meet companies, speakers and potential employers is a day well spent!
